News: Woman killed when vehicle runs off road on Route 652

LOUISA COUNTY, VA – A driver was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Louisa County Saturday night, according to WWBT.

State police identified the victim as 29-year-old Claudia Casanova of Mineral, Virginia. Authorities said she was driving a Scion TC on Route 652/Kentucky Springs Road, when the accident occurred shortly before 11 p.m.

The Scion drove off the right shoulder of the road and hit several trees before overturning, according to investigators.  Casanova, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.
