News: UPDATE: Victim identified in fatal Virginia Beach hit-and-run

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – Officials with the Virginia Beach Police Department have identified the victim in a fatal hit-and-run collision that took place on Monday night.

According to 13 News Now, 32-year-old Amanda Majett was killed after she was struck by a car within the 6000 block of Indian River Road at about 9:40 p.m. Police believe Majett was struck by a silver or white sedan which possibly sustained damage to the driver’s side headlight.

The vehicle was last seen leaving Levell Green neighborhood shortly after the crash.
