NEWPORT NEWS, VA – A man died after his vehicle crashed in Newport News Monday morning, WAVY reported.
Police said 20-year-old Mark Anthony Maxwell Anderson was driving in the vicinity of 55th Street and Warwick Boulevard when the accident occurred at 8:18 a.m. Anderson, of Norfolk, sustained life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead after being transported to an area hospital. No one else was in the vehicle at the time.
No details were released on the circumstances surrounding the crash. One lane was shut down between 53rd Street and 55th Street for the police investigation.
