VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – A man from Florida was sentenced to 20 years in a Virginia prison in connection to a 2018 accident that resulted in the death of a 73-year-old woman.
According to 13 News Now, 37-year-old Anthony Spence pleaded guilty to aggravated involuntary manslaughter.
Prosecutors say Maria Fox’s vehicle was struck in the driver’s side door by Spence on the evening of June 3rd, 2018. Spence was visibly impaired and driving at speeds exceeding 100 mph. at the time of the crash.
