News: Virginia Beach employee hit by truck released from hospital

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – A Virginia Beach Fire Department employee who was hit by a truck has been released from the hospital, WAVY reports.

Art Kohn, the public information officer for the city’s fire department, was struck in October as he walked along Rudee Point Road.

Kohn was seriously injured in the crash but was released last Friday as he continues his recovery.

The driver who hit him was issued a traffic citation by police.
