News: Vehicle slams into store at Chesterfield County shopping center

RICHMOND, VA – A vehicle crashed into a store at a Chesterfield County shopping center Monday afternoon, sending four people to the hospital.

According to WWBT, the incident happened at a Visionworks optometry store at the Stonehenge Village Shopping Center along Midlothian Turnpike just after 4 p.m.

Witnesses said a woman was behind the wheel of a tan Hyundai that slammed into the business. The driver, a store employee and two children who were in the waiting room at the time were hospitalized, but none of the injuries were believed to be serious.

Chesterfield Police are trying to determine what caused the crash.
