RICHMOND, VA – Virginia 511 alerted drivers to traffic backups following a vehicle crash in Richmond Wednesday afternoon.
The accident happened on Interstate 95 at mile marker 69. 5 and was reported sometime after 2:30 p.m. The right shoulder of the northbound interstate was shut down, and motorists were advised to expect delays in the area.
No information was available on any injuries resulting from the crash.
Another incident caused further delays on I-95 , as a disabled vehicle was reported at mile marker 79 in Richmond. As a result, the south right shoulder was closed.
