News: Truck driver cited in crash that injured Virginia Beach employee

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – A truck driver has been cited by police after hitting a pedestrian in Virginia Beach earlier this month, according to WAVY.

The accident happened on Oct. 13 in the vicinity of Rudee Point Road and Southside Road.

The victim was Virginia Beach Fire Department Public Information Officer Art Kohn. Kohn was seriously injured when he was struck by the truck as he was walking along the road.

Police recently issued a citation to the driver for failure to yield to a pedestrian. The truck driver remained at the scene following the incident.
