HENRICO, VA – Officials with the Henrico Police Department are searching for a suspect who fled the scene of a hit-and-run crash Tuesday evening.
According to WWBT, police received reports of a reckless driver who struck another vehicle near Penick Road and Cloverdale Street at around 7:14 p.m.
The vehicle involved in the accident was located on the shoulder of I-64 near a wooded area. Police believe the suspect escaped into the woods after abandoning the vehicle.
No identification information regarding the suspect responsible for the crash has been made available as of yet. It is also unclear whether anyone was injured in the incident.
