News: Police search for suspect in Stafford County hit-and-run

STAFFORD COUNTY, VA – Investigators with the Virginia State Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the individual responsible for a fatal hit and run on I-95 last Tuesday.

According to Potomac Local, 34-year-old Steven Law, Jr., of Richmond, was struck while walking in the HOV lane of I-95  near Garrisonville Road at about 4:00 a.m.

Law died from his injuries at the scene of the crash. The suspect involved fled the scene without rendering assistance to the victim.

No identifying information regarding the vehicle or suspect involved has been made available.
