News: Man in wheelchair killed while attempting to cross street in Henrico

HENRICO, VA – A man in a wheelchair was killed after being struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross a southwest Henrico street early Saturday morning.

According to NBC 12, the incident was reported at bout 12:11 a. m. near the intersection of West Broad Street and Emerywood Parkway. Police say 68-year-old John Krueger was struck by a vehicle traveling through a green light at the intersection.

Krueger was pronounced at the scene. No charges have been filed against the driver involved in the crash.
