News: Driver dies following car accident in Chesterfield County

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – A driver was killed when his car crashed in Chesterfield County early Wednesday morning, the Richmond Times-Dispatch reports.

The accident happened in the 19300 block of Hull Street Road at about 12:15 a.m. Investigators determined that 45-year-old Kevin S. Jennings drove his Kia Sportage into a median, which caused the car to overturn.

Jennings, a Henrico County resident, died at the scene from his injuries. He was not using a seatbelt at the time.

Police suspect alcohol use was a contributing factor in the fatal accident.
