CAROLINE COUNTY, VA – Authorities say a driver was killed in a single-vehicle accident in Caroline County Friday night.
According to WWBT, the victim was identified by Virginia State Police as 55-year-old Earl Garnett of Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Police said Garnett was behind the wheel of a Ford F150 when the accident occurred on Tidewater Trail near Hicks Landing Road, just before 9 p.m. Garnett drove off the road and overcorrected before hitting multiple trees.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was in the car.
