News: Crash in Prince George County leaves woman dead, toddler injured

PRINCE COUNTY, VA – A car accident in Prince George County left a woman dead and a child injured, according to WRIC.

The crash happened Monday night in the 7600 block of Prince George Drive. Authorities say a 24-year-old woman was driving south with her 21-month old son when their SUV went off the road at about 6:50 p.m.

The vehicle crashed into a tree and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. She was identified as Dyllon B. Bennett. The child was transported to VCU Medical Center, but no details were released on his condition.

The Prince George Police Department is investigating the crash.
