News: Crash at Richmond intersection sends woman to hospital

RICHMOND, VA – A two-vehicle accident at a Richmond intersection yesterday left one of the drivers injured, WWBT reported.

The crash happened in the area of Arthur Ashe Boulevard and Idlewood Avenue shortly after 9 a.m. Tuesday morning.  The vehicles collided under unknown circumstances and one of them overturned, leaving its driver with a minor injury. She was taken to a local hospital.

The driver of the other vehicle was charged with disregarding a red light, according to police.
