News: 81-year-old motorcyclist dies in collision with pickup on Route 360

KING AND QUEEN COUNTY, VA – A pickup truck driver was charged following a fatal collision with a motorcyclist last week, according to WWBT.

The accident happened Wednesday in in the 13200 block of the Richmond-Tappahannock Highway (Route 360) at about 2:30 p.m.

Virginia State Police say 81-year-old Ronald Caudell was riding a Honda GL1500SE motorcycle when he made a turn from Route 360 East onto Route 721 North. The motorcycle was hit by a Ford F-150 pickup truck driven by 45-year-old Jason Fox of Tappahannock.

Caudell, of Hanover County, was pronounced dead at the scene. Fox was charged with reckless driving and failure to obey a traffic signal.
