HENRICO COUNTY, VA – A young woman was killed when her car collided with a pickup truck in Henrico County Saturday night, according to WTVR.
The accident happened at about 5:37 p.m. in the intersection of Patterson Avenue and Lauderdale Drive, in the far west end of the county.
Investigators determined that 22-year-old Caroline Lonigro of Henrico was proceeding with a green light on Lauderdale Drive when her vehicle was struck by a Chevrolet Silverado pickup going west on Patterson Avenue.
Lonigro was pronounced dead at VCU Medical Center. The pickup driver stayed at the scene. Police said no charges were immediately being filed while the crash remained under investigation.
