News: 21-year-old man killed in James City County pickup crash

JAMES CITY, VA – Police in James City County are investigating a pickup truck crash that killed a 21-year-old man late Wednesday night.

13 News Now reports the wreck happened in the 4600 block of Rochambeau Drive near the intersection of Cloverleaf Lane at about 11:12 p.m.

Investigators said Taylor Raymond Eveland was driving a Toyota Tacoma when the vehicle ran off the road, struck a stump and went onto its side.

Evans, a resident of New Kent, was ejected from the pickup and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said he was not wearing a seat belt at the time.
