News: 2 pedestrians struck by a vehicle in Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – Two women in Virginia Beach were hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle while they were crossing the street last Thursday.

According to WAVY, the crash occurred near the intersection of Reon Drive and Indian River Road. The two victims were rushed to a local hospital to be treated for potentially serious injuries.

The driver involved in the collision remained on the scene and cooperated with police. It is unclear if they will be charged with a crime.

Police have not said whether or not the victims were within the crosswalk when they were hit.
