News: 1 dead, 3 hospitalized following Richmond collision

RICHMOND, VA – Richmond police are investigating a car vs. motorcycle collision that left one dead and three others injured Wednesday evening.

According to WWBT, the crash was reported at the intersection of Jefferson Davis Highway and Chicago Avenue at 6:23 p.m., where a Toyota Avalon carrying three people collided with a motorcyclist.

All four individuals were rushed to the hospital, where one of the Toyota’s occupants died. The motorcyclist reportedly suffered potentially life-threatening injuries. Details regarding the condition of the other two people involved are not immediately available.

An investigation into the cause of the crash remains underway.
