One Person Dragged from Car in Multi-Vehicle Crash in Fairfax County

Whenever we hear about a multi-vehicle crash in Fairfax County, we pray that nobody was seriously injured. However, it’s hard to expect nobody to get hurt when you have two machines crashing into each other. Sometimes, the injuries are minor. Other times, the injuries are more serious.

That is what happened this past weekend. On Sunday, at about 3:30 a.m., two cars crashed at the intersection of Va. Route 286 and Lee Chapel Road. The make and models of the cars haven’t been released as of yet. However, the police did confirm that the crash was so serious they had to close the road down in both directions for about three hours.

There were 2 cars involved in the crash. It happened right at the intersection. One of the drivers was trapped in their car after the accident. Rescue crews had to pry him out of the car. He did suffer very serious injuries and was transported to the local hospital. The said his condition has been upgraded to stable which is great news.

There is no other information on the other driver. And, the identity of the victim has not yet been released. There’s a chance that they haven’t been able to notify his family just yet.

The police say the investigating is still ongoing. So far, there has been no information released regarding the cause of the crash. Nor have any comments been made by the people involved in the accident.
