Driver injured when pickup collides with Virginia Beach townhouses

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – Emergency services in Virginia Beach rushed the driver of a pickup truck to the hospital after he collided with a group of townhouses Monday morning.

Officials responded to the scene near the intersection of Windmill Point Crescent and Lynnhaven Parkway at about 10:30 a.m., according to 13 News Now.

Police say the driver experienced a medical emergency while driving, which caused him to lose control of the truck and crash into the homes. No information on his condition is available at this time.

Luckily, no one was injured in the crash. However, a fence and two homes sustained damages as a result.
